Man I get on twitter Last night and all i see in my TL is Big Sean's new shit "Control" (Produced by NO I.D) about how Kendrick Lamar Killed the song....So I had to go and listen and man............

Producer Spotlight - Ayatollah

You may or may not be too familiar with this producer but you definitely know some of his work.  I Choose Ayatollah for the second Producer in my Producer spotlight.  He has worked with many “Underground” New York Artist back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s such as Mos Def, Cormega, Sean Price, Saigon, Tragedy Khadafi, Ghostface Killah, Royce Da 5’9 and Guru to name a few.

I First started looking more into him after hearing Mos Def’s “Ms. Fat Booty” (Yes he produced that classic) and also “My Life” With Styles P and THEE Pharoahe Monch ( Yeah he did that as well).   I am also a fan of Cormega, who he produced a Ton of songs for as well.  He may not be as popular as lets say Pete Rock, Alchemist or Premo but the man did his thing and definitely created some great Music for Artist in New York.  Let’s get into a few Song he is responsible for

Nike You gotta Chill. My whole life I always wore Nike (Well with my own money, before then it was whatever my mother could afford)Nike could never do any wrong in my eyes. Not because I only fuck with the hype, just I always had bad experiences with other brands.

Fila - I had a pair of Grant Hills when I was younger that after like a month of playing in them they just fell the fuck apart.
Reebok - I loved the Iversons but besides that I never really liked the way most Reeboks looked.
Adidas - Besides Shell toes i never found their basketball sneakers to be comfortable

So I always fucked with Nike and/or Jordan Brand. But what you guys are doing now days is RIDICULOUS...and HIDEOUS

BUT I get what you guys are doing....Slap "QS" "Limited Edition" Or "Limited Quantity" on the sneaker and you know people will buy them due to the fact that the sneaker will be worth some bread down the line.
